(二)报告人简介
Dr. Florian Rauch optained his bachelor’s degree at the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg in Chemistry. He went on to finish his Master’s thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Todd Marder at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry. He stayed with the group for his PhD and finished his doctoral thesis in 2020 on new boron materials with ortho-trifluoromethylated aryls and their application for thermally activated delayed fluorescence as well as their influence on borafluorenes. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the same group.
Dr. Joern Nitsch studied chemistry in Münster (Germany) and obtained his Diploma in the Photonics group of Prof Luisa De Cola (now KIT and University of Strasbourg). After moving to the University of Würzburg, he got his PhD in 2015 under the supervision of Prof Andreas Steffen (now TU Dortmund). He won a DFG research fellowship which enabled him to spend two year (2016–2018) in the theoretical chemistry group of Prof Matthias Bickelhaupt at the VU Amsterdam. After completion he moved back to the University of Würzburg with a DFG return fellowship in the group of Prof. Todd B. Marder were he is currently working on the manipulation of excited states to generate smart luminescent materials. His main research interests are luminescent organic and organometallic compounds, photophysics and DFT and TD‐DFT calculations.
Dr. Zhu Wu optained his bachelor’s degree at the Soochow University in Chemistry. He went on to finish his Master’s thesis under the supervision of Prof. Ran Lu at the Institute of organic Chemistry in Jilin University. He moved to the group of Prof. Dr. Dr. Todd B Marder for his PhD in 2017 on new boron materials and their applications in the Institut für Anorganische Chemie Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. He also did some research on radical anions and diaions of azapentacene compounds.
