Research Interests

Our research is focused on low-dimensional metal materials for optoelectronic and energy related applications. We conduct interdisciplinary research on the synthesis, characterization, functionalization, application of these ultrafine metal clusters and their properties evolution with size changing from single atoms to nanometre. Our research interests mainly include:

(1) Design and synthesis of atomically precise metal/alloy nanoclusters and their structure and property correlation;

(2) Metal single atoms and/or nanoclusters are utilized as catalysts in energy conversion reactions such as water splitting, CO2 electroreduction and electrocatalysis of N2 reduction.
